We're going to need a pair of these for the 4080s.. probably have to do some re-wiring to the house too.
At the same time? No probably not especially under heavy loads.

Either way, this is a mediocre PSU and should not be front page for being $80.

I have the 750W version of this. It's a decent power supply. I run a 3700X and RTX 2080 Super. The built quality of the PSU could be better, especially the connectors.

If anyone is curious, the MWE V1 had a lot of bad reviews. Complaints of DOA and dead units after six months. So this is presumably why they introduced MWE V2. There are not a lot of reviews for V2. This one review I read thoroughly tested the MWE V2 and it had headroom of 200W for the 750W version.

Wonder if it can power a 3090 and 1080ti.
I would advise against it. It's not exactly a top-tier PSU. If you can afford a 3090, you can afford a Tier-A PSU.

Got this back on prime day 2019 for 50 dollars. Still working. Maybe this year's prime day it will be back to $50.

How is the Reputation of Cooler Master vs Corsair.

Worth the risk to get the extra 100 W over this deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/15668809-corsair-rmx-series-rm750x-750-watt-80-gold-fully-modular-power-supply-79-free-shipping

Both are great

Wonder who OEM is behind this PSU. Cooler Master historically has been all over the place when it comes to OEM manufacturer, from some models manufactured by top-tier manufacturer (i.e. Seasonic) to the non-MWE 850 V2 manufactured by lower tier (i.e. Gospower). That hasn't helped CM's reputation as quality has been everywhere as well.

I had a Cooler Master Masterwatt and it would make random clunking sounds. Customer support said that was normal. Returned it and got an EVGA GT.

I had this. Died on me after a year. No advance replacement for RMA so that process was lengthy and painful. Ended up buying a Corsair rm850x. Much better unit and support. I would avoid this one.

Considering getting this but only 2 PCIE cables are provided? Anyone know where to get more? Seems like most cables are not compatible

Probably want to find out who the OEM is for this PSU before you pull the trigger. Cooler Master has a tendency to use sketchy OEMs to save a nickel. $20 or even $50 saved isn't worth it when you have $1000-$2000 of hardware depending on it.

Bought 1. Thanks for posting OP.

This is for my "daily driver" PC to replacing the aging 750 Bronze that's in it right now. Seeing a little bit of the back and forth in here, my opinion is that I have zero hesitation running this in my mid-range everyday PC, but I wouldn't trust this thing in a proper gaming rig. When it comes to PSU, I always going a bit over and above my calculated need. So, if an 850 Gold is about the right calculation, I'd go with somewhere between an 850 Platinum to a 1000 Gold.

Just make sure you're calculating your PSU needs properly first. No sense buying a 1500 Platinum if you're building a machine for doing spreadsheets and watching YouTube.

Also, for those wondering who the OEM for this is, it's Gospower. All the V2 Gold power supplies from Cooler Master are manufactured by Gospower.

Gospower also manufactures Cooler Master's SFX line as well.
