I bought this combo a few weeks ago new on Ebay for a similar price. I used the blower two times to move some light snow. Haven't had the opportunity to try the string trimmer yet. Battery didn't last long on the "turbo" blower setting (<5 minutes), but I only tried it two times and I don't really expect that with the 2.5Ah.

I've had an EGO mower for two seasons, and so far so good. EGO brand is worth a little extra imho.

I bought a BD 20 Volt Drill with a 2.5 AH battery & charger on sale for $25 in November, from Ace Hardware...I also found a used 3.0 AH on Ebay for $17...The Amazon is full of "Compatible" batteries...I have yet to try them! Ego Tools, I LOVE the edger. (Just remember to NEVER back up while using or you will shred the rubber guard that can physically touch the spinning blade. Ego sent me a new one, to their credit!) I have a 530 Ego Blower, which is OK, but I am planning to purchase the 765 CFM blower when available at my Lowes store. (with 2 ea 5.0 batteries should cost $400 ~ $450). The bush trimmer is a very good tool also. I bought a refurb Ego mower from Home Depot In 2019. It looked like new, but when cutting grass, it left a lot of standing uncut blades of grass, I called Ego who only suggested that I double cut the lawn! so I took it back. (Didn't compare to my gas powered Honda)

I have this set. The 2.5ah is perfect for the string trimmer. It is a bit lacking for the leaf blower though.

I've found better success with a 5ah for the blower. The 2.5 is used for the string trimmer and hedge trimmer.

I have no experience with the B&D but I've had my Ego trimmer for years and have had zero complaints or issues. It loads the line easily and battery life is pretty impressive for my acre lot. Um, I obviously don't trim the entire acre - just around the house, gardens, driveway and walkway.

Have this set and it works great. The wife at 5'4" 110 lbs uses the trimmer on our 5 acre property and has no problems with size and weight. The blower does what it needs to, never needed more. Use it to clear pine needles and debris on a 300 ft driveway and blow out gutters on our large single story house. Perhaps if their were a lot of large heavy leaves more power would be better.
