Don't like the fact they're still pushing Walmart plus for a purchase. But it's whatever.

seeing all this back and forth about xbox series x and ps5 really pains me...because we all know it's all about the pc master race.

But in all seriousness there isn't really any bad option
The competition is for the kids and the trolls. I have all consoles and a gaming laptop. If I could only get one, I'd get Xbox. I play it a lot more and only use the PS5 for exclusives, but I'd be sad without it. As for PC: sure, if you like to spend all your gaming time tweaking your setup and collecting Steam games instead of actually playing anything, have at it.

PS5 is better. It has better exclusives.
XSX is a more powerful system with a better controller, better online service and Xbox Game Pass. So while you may prefer PS, there's a strong argument for the contrary

Exactly! I'm glad you said it. Now I don't have to. Sooo many people are realizing this. It's cool to have both... But if I could only have one... It would DEFINITELY be the Xbox series X!
I have both also, I play all the multiplatform releases on XSX. The platform is no much more open, smart delivery is awesome and gamepass has tons of games that cost $70 on PS.

No one wants the Xbox anymore. Ps5 sells xbox doesn't sell as much.
PS5 is also made in that same factory, Foxcoon pretty much makes all electronics including Apple, Samsung, Sony, Nintendo and a crap more but I'm hearing they're moving their operations to India, we need to start building this stuff here!

I mean you're also stating your personal opinion on this subject as well though. While yes, the XSX has a higher clock speed on the Zen 2 chip and puts out a little over a teraflop of extra "performance", the SSD in the PS5 is integrated better and offers double the read/write performance, so let's call them even. Now I would definitely agree with you on the online service being better than on the XSX, this has almost been a weak spot for Sony. I think things will improve if the rumors of the discord integration with PS come to fruition and would make a very positive impact on the online experience for the PS, wouldn't fix everything but definitely would be a plus. Controller could also be seen as personal preference depending on what system you grew up playing and how they feel in your hand but feature wise the new haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the PS Dualsense are pretty freaking amazing and if you haven't experienced this personally then I would highly recommend checking it out. Now Xbox game pass is a hit or miss once again in my opinion, if you're looking to have a large assortment of older games to dive through then it might make sense to pay the $14.99/mo, but when I had it last month the only really high-quality game offered was Forza 5. That doesn't really help sell me on the XSX when the majority of the top games for the past few years have been PS exclusive games. At the same time my opinion on all this can also be viewed as a bit bias since I do most of my gaming on my PC, which gets all the same games as the XSX so didn't make sense for me to the get that over the PS5 as my console.

Not really interested in xsx/ps5 but glad stock is coming around. Also don't sleep on WM+. I get free same day or next day shipping on tons of stuff including groceries but YMMV depending on how close you are to a WM. WM+ free with Amex plat too.
Thanks for the tips. Signed up for free with AMX plat.

Why did you post this!!!! I made the purchase even though I wanted to swear off getting Series X due to $$$. It seems like this thing will be delivered. I checked Gamestop before ordering - and they don't have just the system for sale.
I almost sold my One X before Christmas for $260 cash ($320 store credit). I regret not doing this - GS is not even taking this as a trade in anymore - and they are offering trade-ins for Series X used systems for $320. I missed out sadly. I guess I will sell third party. I guess GS was inundated with One X's.

That is correct. Though there's not too many new good games on there besides Forza and maybe FIFA/Madden if you're into those, but it's a good way to catch up on some older games for cheap.
