EVA foam soles mean they will probably be cushy, but they'll wear out in a couple months (or a couple weeks if exercising on concrete). For about $20 more you can get regular deals on shoes with Ortholite insoles that actually support your foot, and rubber outsoles to make them last several times longer. For $5 more you can get a rubber outsole on the 410v6 trail shoe others are mentioning above. That makes these foam shoes a low value proposition for most people.

This is true. I bought some Skechers memory foam shoes from Costco that were on sale. I work in a large shop with concrete flooring. The shoes lasted only a few weeks until they were too painful to wear.

I only buy shoes with rubber bottoms. The kids wear the foam out within weeks if I try to go cheap.

Rubber soles last longer than before they grow out of them which makes it worth the small extra initial cost
