This isn't a burr grinder, it's a blade grinder similar to spice grinder. Works, but won't give you consistent sized grinds. If you want to make a amazing cup of coffee, you'll need to invest in an actual burr grinder.

I'm new to exploring a grinder need for my morning coffee. How frequently you'll grind for a fresh cup? More like daily or weekly?
most grind right before brewing (however many times you drink a day)

I purchased this in 2015 for the same price and it is still working like new. I use it for coffee beans daily. I have no complaints but also no experience with more expensive options

I couldn't care less if someone drinks pre-ground coffee but there is no getting around the fact that specifically clicking on a deal for a coffee grinder in order to post about how you buy pre-ground coffee is douchey as hell.

Coffee Grinders are an incredibly simple appliance. They have a simple motor that turns a simple blade.

There are $5-$10 coffee grinders out there that will out perform or slightly underperform this product.

But you will always get the grind you need unless your blade is completely messed up.

Don't waste your money on a $30 grinder....

So, I'm agreeing on the cheapo grinder front. My Mr Coffee $10 grinder that I purchased 4-5 years ago gives me exactly what I want taste-wise from my preferred beans every time. Is it messy? Sometimes. It's it easy to clean. Yes. However, on pricing. Just looked for said coffee grinder online and it's now $29 too. Yay inflation and whatnot.

My brother and I bought on two separate occasions. We both got rid of it because it is very messy. If you can get a silicon top for it and use it while jury rigging the power button it will be much cleaner but wasn't worth the hassle.

I currently have a pitchfork stuck in my $800 grinder. Suggestions?
clearly you need a more expensive grinder. I'm thinking $2200 and up should do the trick.

Is there a noticeable difference in the finished product? I have a blade grinder and definitely notice a difference between freshly ground and pre-ground. Will getting a burr grinder offer a noticeable improvement (i'm using a $20 Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker)
