Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

The Promo, T929, is showing up again on Tablets page, and in cart with the TE Plan

Got the 'ole $5.01 monthly total in cart, after non-existent auto pay discount lol
Take screenshots in every step, can ask T-Force to give you autopay discount or maybe some courtesy credits towards your bill. I took them and plan on doing it lol.

Actually changing IMEI in US is not illegal. It is in other country but not in US
Wait for real? I am reading at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Int...nd_the_law and like bill was never passed/enacted so it is legal in US? How am I hearing about it only now? I thought it was illegal in US. United States really is Land of Freedom. I love Murica!

What I don't get this time, if they've "fixed things" is why tablet credits still don't show up in cart for the TI plan, as the terms just say minimum 2GB data plan??

So you're going with the $5.01 TE cart (tablet discount + non existent auto pay) to try and get a curtesy credit back, vs. ordering TI plan and fighting them to apply the tablet discount?

I ordered TE one and it is showing Tablet Credits in my account already (credits didn't apply yet but still, look at images)

Look at Plan Details of TI vs TE plan lol, in TI plan it says
"Not Eligible to AutoPay or Hybrid discounts"

It doesn't say that in TE plan plus it shows $5 discount in cart + when I was checking out, I got proof and gonna ask T-Force to apply non existent auto pay discount or give me courtesy credits lol

They have not fixed anything. They just brought back the free tablet sale. The only place in the terms where they mentioned "2G" is the 2G speed roaming in 210+ countries. In the US, you will get 5G/4G speed. See ps200901's post above for details of each plan

After two years of paying for the device, the monthly bill would be $5 for TI plan and $5+tax/fees for the TE plan. For long-term, TI seems to be a better choice

I think we're just going to have to wait until the first two autopay customers (one TI & one TE) that have added the tablet receive their first bills. That will clear up all the questions.

Gotcha, the term says "Receive up to $199.99 back via 24 monthly bill credits.." yesterday when it was $99 too. So I do not think they changed the terms of the device .

The TI plan terms say "not eligible for hybrid discounts" so that may explain why the free tablet sale does not work together with the TI plan

Please let us know if anyone can switch the plan from TE to TI after plan activation and the new monthly bill.

They do have a $99 A7 lite promo right now as well, don't know why 2 at same time with same qualifications (at least on the tablet promo terms)

Sorry for confusion, I ordered online, didn't call. But like only when I add TE plan I get Tablet Promo applied not when when I add TI plan.

But then again the website shows like AutoPay discount on Magenta Business Tablet Promo plan when plan details says the plan is not applicable for Autopay discounts lol, so I dunno bruh. Just gonna leave it as it is for now.

This is a bit tempting. Currently have ATT Access for ipad 4g LTE $20/mth with unlimited hotspot and HD streaming. I rarely use it but I may use it as my main ISP at home in a year or two with light use.

My understanding with this T-Mo plan unless I modify a hotspot or SIM router I will only get 10GB hotspot and unlimited on device data with video streaming at 480P.

Is there a legit way to use the unlimited on device data for hotspot?
You should be really sure about giving up that ATT plan. If I understand correctly, that ATT Access for Ipad plan is unlimited hotspot. It costs twice as much as this plan, but it's now a grandfathered plan and the new plans all have limits on the hotspot.

I worked so hard to get that plan before right when the newer plan came out and I've been thinking of getting rid of it, but after reading about it, I'll probably just keep both the tmobile $10 plan and the $23(after taxes) ATT one.
