Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

The promo for the free tablet never showed up in my account. They assured me that it would show up after a billing cycle or two, but of course by then it is too late to return the table if in fact the promo never gets applied.

I originally had the TE plan, had them change it to the TI plan. So I just didn't want to take the risk of two years of payments in the event the promo was never applied.
When I ordered the tablet with the TI plan, there was no promo code shown at checkout or in any of the e-mails sent to me after. I checked my online account a few days after my tablet shipped and I can see the promo applied in my line details under equipment financing.

Nope.... and to be blunt... if you're worried about paying $10 per month for this, maybe you should pass it up. It's $10!!!

You should get an activation confirmation e-mail containing the tablet's phone number. You can use that to sign up for online access to your account.
Were you able to sign up for a "T-mobile ID" as soon as you got this email? I got my assigned phone number in that email a week ago. When I try to register I get "email address not recognized. Enter the one you used when purchasing your t-mobile device". I am entering the proper email. Just figured they needed time to get me into their system. I even received my first invoice in the mail, but it still won't let me sign up. The invoice has a customer number on it. Is that going to be my ID?

I guess I need to call them.

What is R15 SIM card? Can I get 1 online? Also, did they waive activation/SIM starter fee? I want to get another line but want them to waive fees
Finally changed to T1. With that said, are you keeping the tablet or returning it?

First off, you need to know that T-Mobile grandfathers you in. (This, coming from a 20+ year member on the Consumer side...) Once you sign up for this plan, it's yours forever unless YOU cancel it! (I grabbed 2 on the TI side!)

Also, grab the TI plan unless you're getting the free tablet, which requires the TE plan.

There's no autopay discount on this plan, but you CAN call and request a free HD pass to be placed on each line!
Called 2 reps and both said they can't add HD pass and that is some I have to do at my end. Is there a soc code or something we need to provide them?

Did you see that choosing the TE $10 plan gives you the tablet credits immediately, wheras choosing the TI $10 plan (the one with "Promo" in the title) doesn't show any credits at all?
No. I did not see any promo except auto bill discount.

Nope.... adding on the free HD pass is something that must be done from their end.... we have no way of activating that on our side. I was transferred to Business Tech Support who was able to activate it on my two $10 TI lines.

So, you have free HD pass added to this business tablet line? They looked up your personal grandfathered plan and did it as courtesy?
I have been with them 17 years

Thanks in advanced !

Yes, they added it to both (I grabbed a 2nd line a few days later as well...) I never gave them my Consumer T-Mobile acct. info, as I wanted to keep the two plans entirely separate from each other.

Folks.... Folks.... FOLKS!!!!!!!

I.... HAVE..... FULL..... HD..... STREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!! ON THESE $10 TABLET PROMO PLANS!!!

I have a 20-year T-Mobile Postpaid Consumer plan, but I opened a new Business plan back on 3/17 just to grab one of these promo plans. I didn't add anything else, just a single Magenta Business Tablet Promo plan... the TI version. I did it on eSIM on my 7th gen iPad. I didn't get the free Android tablet.

It was such a deal that I went back a couple days later to get the same plan, but this time on a physical SIM.

I thought that the ONLY thing this plan could do to get better would be to have full HD/4K..... and based on what I read on here earlier by another poster, I called my Business Team of Experts....

Took 35 minutes, but I now have FREE full HD streaming on both my promo tablet lines!! I called 611, then said "Business", but that rep did have to transfer me over to Business Tech Support to get the job done.

I'm watching full 1080p, where it was stuttering just last night, and this isn't one of those 1080p vids that can "somehow" sneak through without stuttering.... EVERY HD vid is blazing through!

I'm going to go use the Firefox trick and see if I can find a SOC code for what's been added on. I shall return.... but in the meantime... YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
You added them in store or online? Did they charge you fees on those 2 lines when sign up at store?

He is correct the first time I called I was told it was activated on the 2 tablet lines and that I also have to activate it on my end. I called back later that day and told another business rep. That it was not activated and he did it all on his end. HD pass with fast.com is about 7 download speed before I was only getting 2.4 download speed. That is how I verified it was done.
