Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I ordered two lines/tablet deals that came in last week, a few here have ordered more. Can't imagine a limit under 12, and don't see the normal limit 2 or 4 in the terms like Consumer deals.
Thanks. I happened to have an unused SIM in my drawer with a 2024 expiration, so I decided to use it for a 2nd tablet line. It went smoothly, but convincing the T-Mobile CSR that the tablet I was going to use- an old iPad Air I bought when I was with Verizon - was carrier unlocked was a bit of a chore, tho Smilie.

Just came from the store... Only took 2h30min. Sheesh. Agent was helpful but he had no idea about the the deal. He got bounced around a lot while talking to corporate. After about 1 hour and 5 transfers, finally someone knew what they were doing and things moved along. If you go for this deal, be ready to be patient and polite.

He opened a regular account, then called corporate to make the account business. They ran a credit check on my SSN and I showed them my business tax license.

I got the free A7 tablet (to be shipped to my house). I'm unsure if I got the TI or TE. I gave them the SOC for TI but it takes 2 days for TMO to give me access to the account online so I can login and confirm.

I did not have to sign up for a voice line.

So, supposedly this is $10 a month only.

I did not pay activation fees. I paid tax on the tablet, about $18.

I'm using the SIM in my Pixel 3 phone with Google Voice. I get about 10 Mbps download speed.

Same here. I need to pay $72 for the tablet and no mentioning of the refund. They also charge me $20 for the sim card
I did this in store almost a month ago. They charged me $72 for the tablet and said it would be refunded as a bill credit of $3 per month, so my bill would be $7 a month. 12 days later I saw no record of this in my online account, so I called support, and they said the free tablet promotion wasn't attached to my account. They assured me it would all work out in the end, but I would need to wait 1-2 billing cycles to see the credit.

I decided the tablet wasn't worth the hassle and returned it. The store manager agreed to waive the restocking fee.

Received my first bill today for my 2 promo tablet TI lines. They were prorated for the first month, since the bill date isn't the date you open the lines/plan on, so I paid $8-ish for one line and $7-ish for the other.

For those that insisted that the $5 autopay discount would work on these plans, even after the fine print said otherwise.... there's NO autopay discount.

(I'm good for a couple months, since I received $60 back in credits from T-Mo since they charged me $60 for opening the 2 lines.)

Lovin' the free HD Pass on both lines, too! (Watching 4K as I type this!!)

Just test TI plan on my free Franklin t9(changed imei, ttl) lock band 66. Got 35/25 on my location. T-Mobile app show all 10g through mobile data.
So I understand where we set imei and ttl. Whats the significance of lock band 66? Is that a value we update in configuration? I get 10 down 2 up, could do with some suggestions. Thanks.

It's depends on your location, band 66 on my location has the fastest speed, if keep other bands, t9 will randomly select them like band 41, has similar down but low ups

It is too late to get HD Pass added right? I use like Cloudflare free VPN thingy. I should have tried to get the HD Pass added.

My bill was also prorated, it was like $8-ish for me.

I think recently people have been able to do it. I used Business Tech Support to put the free HD Pass on my two lines. Worth a try....

When I add the tablet and then try to sign up for a business plan and hit "Submit" for the credit check nothing happens - I've tried on multiple browsers. Anyone run into that?

After submission, I got a message to call or go in store.

Did you need to purchase a $20 SIM in addition to the $18 tax on the tablet?

No, they gave me the sim for free. No activation fee either. It was just tax $18 out the door.

Did they do any kind of business verification after you called/went in store?

Thanks, I'm going to give that a try. I don't see any mention of HD Pass on my lines from the tfb.t-mobile.com account dashboard. My two lines are four and one day old, so I hope there is a grace period for mistakes...
