They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

P.S. The m2000 is tethered my Asus RT-AX82U. Works like a charm....
M2000-$120, Unlock service-$150, Powerful router-$200, Plan-$10/month
=
12 month T-Mobile home internet
After that you will have $40 less per month
A little bit expensive invest for me

Yes, I do see your logic and agree everyone has a breakeven point they are comfortable with..... I was able to grab my m2000 locally for $55 and my Asus RT-AX82U for $130 from Amazon..... So for me a lower investment to calculate my breakeven/ money ahead point.
So if we're not using the hotspot's WiFi router functionality, it seems like the hotspot is like a phone, except it doesn't have a screen and it requires jumping through some hoops to make it work with a tablet plan (custom firmware, IMEI spoofing).
I didn't know if something about the 4G / 5G reception hardware (number of antennas, antenna power) might give the hotspot an edge over a phone in terms of bandwidth or signal reliability. Sounds like you didn't choose it for those reasons though.
Thanks for your reply!
For sure! Hope it helps you make a well informed decision..... Sounds like a 5g phone will be the best option for you. The only caveat I had was wanting to make my device "appear" as a tablet for tmoble.

The router's really independent though. Doesn't matter if you have T-Mobile, Xfinity, Starlink, or anything else for your service provider. Your WiFi router or mesh system needs to match the size and configuration of the space you're covering with WiFi. So I wouldn't really consider "powerful router - $200" as part of the equation when comparing ISPs.

That's not bad if no need high speed.

Mine works for text messages only in iPhone 6
I provided my own iemi of a tablet that I own.

They have to do the following steps:
1. Create your business account (skip to Step 2 if you already have a business account).
2. Activate a SIM card on your account, and THEN the plans will populate to select under the SIM.
Same thing happen to me! But luckily I was able to get a one time credit of $335! =] no monthly credits for me š
so I called in, asked some general questions then asked the agent if i can get HD pass added and the agent said sure, took 3 mins and now both my lines got HD pass and got the texts to confirm too.
the tablet's credit also got applied right away after the order got created, got the text confirmed that the amount will be applied and the credit also showing under my billing already.
now i am wishing i didn't return my 1st line's tablet LOL--by the way, haven't got the refund for my returned tablet, agent did tell me they will get back to me tomorrow, that's kinda odd to me. hope I'll get it soon
really good deal
