They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

It took about 2.5 hours, but they were able to activate the Business Internet with free unlimited tablet data. They couldn't get the promo to trigger right, so they ended up getting me on the $10 a month tablet plan instead with internet at $50. Also got the A7. I didn't even ask for it. They just added it on. And some $200 router, they added an immediate credit to make the cost around $60.
I was just working most the time I was there on my laptop. So if you're patient, it's worth it. It might take a while and locations might be a hit or a miss as well.
