Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

No. It works perfectly when I connect directly from laptop to M2000. Just received my Asus ax5400 yesterday afternoon. Hooked it up via usb C but it will not connect to internet.
Could the router itself DOA?

Highly doubt the ASUS is DOA. probably needs some setting.

IIRC, someone here uses the M2000 with a GLInet mango something. And that worked.

not all routers natively support USB tethering. do you know if this router you got supports it. Most routers just support file & printer sharing through the USB ports.

This is very true, your Asus hopefully does support 4G dongle tether. The good old Ac68U tmobile version AC1900 does not sure about other models..

Actually even Native Asus stock firmware supports USB 4G dongle tethering but I am only referring to AC68U old router but rock solid and stable..even now. Merlin gives some extra features if you really need them yes flash Asus wrt Merlin..

Tried 66 on both and still counting as hotspot usage.
try this
Code:
iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING 1 -j TTL --ttl-set 66
ip6tables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING 1 -j HL --ttl-set 66
the 1 should pass ttl & hl to all interfaces, while you using wwan0 only if there a modem on the device itself and only the modem.

to test if it work correctly
Code:
iptables -vL -t mangle
should see something like this
Code:
Chain POSTROUTING (policy ACCEPT 8318K packets, 5023M bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination
8318K 5023M TTL all -- any any anywhere anywhere TTL set to 66

Wow, also like bro install T-Mobile Tuesdays, they like deals every tuesday, most won't be worth your time, but from 4/5 through 4/11, they giving out free year of MLB.TV subscription (I am not 100% sure if our plans will quality, but just check)

https://www.t-mobile.com/mlb

There is 1 Year of Paramount+ offer also, I was able to redeem it

https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/p...-plus-deal

Other than that, the plan comes with unlimited texting also, I guess most people don't use it but I was using it to text and it works great. You can install Google Voice or Textnow or other VOIP apps to make calls also over cellular data when outside.

I have AMC A-List, but I took my sister with me for The Lost City, we watched in dolby, and I paid only $4 for her ticket due to T-Mobile Tuesday promo, next to next week I think they gonna have $4 tickets to Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Me and my sister had a blast in The Lost City movie, it was so much fun. They even gave like $2 Dunkin promo gift card, some people trade it with others to like get Amazon GC, etc. look at final pages of https://slickdeals.net/f/15673531-t-mobile-customers-03-22-22-4-movie-ticket-to-the-lost-city-free-sonic-large-drink-or-slush-2-dunkin-card-factor-50-off-per-meal-for-2-weeks

You were able to get the Paramount+ sub? It told me my plan was not eligible.

"Sorry, it appears your account is ineligible for this promotion. Your denial reason is:
Looks like your current rate plan is not eligible for this promotion. For help, T-Mobile customer dial 611 from your handset or call 1-800-937-8997. Sprint customer call 1-888-211-4727."
I tried signing up earlier for Paramount+ and didn't qualify either with this $10 tablet line. However, I just received a text message from T-Mobile today with a link and promo code and was able to activate the 1-Year Paramount+ Subscription. This is the text message I received (with my unique code removed).

"T-Mobile: You're eligible for a T-Mobile discount! We know you had issues redeeming your promotion recently and want to ensure this goes through successfully for you. To finish redeeming your promotional discount, click here: https://www.paramountplus.com/account/skip-to/create-account/monthly-lc/t-mobile/?promo=xxxxxxxxxxx"

I don't know if it was the link from ps200901 quoted above or from this thread that triggered it. https://slickdeals.net/f/15775354-t-mobile-customers-1-year-paramount-ad-streaming-membership-free-valid-for-all-new-existing-postpaid-customers?v=1

I just signed up for the ZB10HSTI (Taxes Included) plan with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite on 06/23. I signed into the TMobile for business site and do not see the plan name nor the bill amount. Do those show up a few days later after signing up?

My next steps is to get HDVPASS0 added and setup the physical sim card in a 4G LTE Router. The specific router I ordered is a Cudy LTE N300 Wifi Router from Amazon. I'll post an update once I have those things setup.

Only options for 5g hotspot currently are Netgear M5 &M6 ($$$) or to get a m2100 or m2000. M2100 is an unlocked Verizon hotspot. M2000 is locked and a guy named Richard is the only one who can mod it with magic for a $150 service fee. Tmo just announced a new 5g hotspot that they are releasing next week. It's $200 or $100 with a $20 5gb plan. I'm going to try and see if I can save $80 by getting it with the plan then canceling. I'll report back next week. In regards to voice on esim: I think the few people that have reported it working were lucky and early adopters to this promo. An option would be to use data in conjunction with google voice.
I bought the M5 5200 to test with this but somehow the speed is throttled. Could you advise on how to get 5G speeds on the M5. Thanks.

Is M5 using hotspot data?

I've been signed up for months now and the TFB portal is just straight-up broken. The plan name only shows in some places and the price only shows on your actual bill. There's other stuff on the site that doesn't work at all. You'll kind of figure out what does and doesn't work as you go along. I wish I'd activated with an SSN instead of an EIN because those accounts still use the regular consumer website and app.
