Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

been using inseego M2100.. it works without any issue. On TMo acct, it shows 6210 as the device.

Does anyone know a good load balance router or bonding device?

The free tablet and the $10/mo. internet is still available BUT it's best to call and speak with an actual person to place the order. T-Mo Business: 877-590-4720 or 866-475-0850.
Do NOT try to do it online or go to the store or you'll probably regret it.
It's also far easier to do this with a SS # as a sole proprietor than an EIN.

You pay tax up front on the actual $200 tablet price and you pay the $10/mo. monthly along with the $200/24mo. tablet installment but you get a credit for it on the monthly bill, for a net payment of $10/mo.
The upfront Sim pack charge is $20, so the total upfront payment for the tax and Sim is around $40.

Make sure you get the $10 all taxes included option, code ZB10HSTI, and the HD Video speed, code HDVPASS0.

After you get and activate the package you can try to do what is described here about the various hacks with the various devices.

Why would one regret it doing it online?

Does that count as hotspot data or we can hack m2100 as well?

68 for just the Gateway or that is a general recommendation for hotspot (Franklin T9 and TMHO1) as well?

Order may not go thru after the credit pull and when you call to place another order there'll be another hard pull.
The order I was placing online got stuck after the credit check and it just disappeared even after I got the order #.
The phone rep could not find the order # so another order had to be placed.
Not to mention the wasted time.

I think there are other posts here with similar experiences.

Besides all this, when you talk to a phone rep, you can ask and will probably get the HD/4K video speed upgrades.
The HDVPASS0 code gives 1080 video speeds as opposed to the standard SD 480 speeds, and from what has been posted here there is a 4K upgrade too.
Search this thread for 4K and HDVPASS0 for more.
You can also ask for next day ship!

Speedtest speeds with the TMOHS1 here are 30Mbps +/-, which is above the 4K minimum of 25Mbps.

TMOHS1 works

My t9 works fine with TTL 64. I use this script tho. https://gist.github.com/weirded/f...619c7496ab

That's interesting. I haven't tried going past the monthly allocation on pure Wi-Fi hotspot usage on my M2100. I've only tried going past 10GB using the M2100 in USB-C tethering mode.

(I don't have access to my online t-Mobile detailed data usage stats because I have an EIN/business login and cannot use the non-business login.)

In the first step, "Once SSH is enabled, place this file in /etc/init.d/set_ttl"

Does it mean we create a file name "set_ttl" and put it in /etc/init.d/ ?

I did that via Mac terminal, I change ttl to different values but when I ping it "ping 192.168.0.1", it always shows ttl 64, doesn't seem changing ttl at all.

You sure it doesn't count as hotspot with your T9? I tried many times and check using T-Mobile app, it shows using hotspot data whenever I use T9.

Any help/advise would be appreciated. TIA

Are verizon M2100 unlocked by default, or we have to look for unlocked ones specifically?
