The multiple ways of using this $10 line for home internet are:
1. T-Mobile Gateway + Cudy N300 or X6 which are wifi only routers to mask hotspot usage with TTL set on the external wifi router. You can use other wifi routers for this purpose but there's a menu page in the Cudy routers which makes setting TTL easy - Courtesy waterchange
1.1 Cudy router like Cudy LT500 or LT18 or the 5G P8 work as a single device with modem + wifi router. Work well for home internet. Nice thing about the Cudy modems is easy TTL (and imei magic if necessary). - Courtesy waterchange
2. M2100 hotspot device - Hit or a miss - native out of the box but less reliable
3. Orbic 5G hotspot device - more reliable than the m2100, however some people have reported throttling after 1st couple of months
4. Gateway + Project Genesis - works most reliably
5. TMOHS1 - ~ 30-50 mbps out of the box, no TTL update required
6. Tmobile Franklin - ~30-50 mbps with TTL update - the most reliable as of right now, however limited speed.
7. M2000 won't pull data from anywhere.
8. GL.iNET Spitz GL-X3000NR easier to use than Cudy and better performance but expensive. Great form factor and performance. Presets for T-Mobile TTL settings and advanced cell features like tower/band lock. External antennas.
9. M3000B works out of the box with T-Mobile version. Has battery preservation features and ethernet port. Some users say to switch 5G mode to NSA if the hotspot restarts frequently in your area.
Add/update if you have more/better info.

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Search the thread for my previous speed test results.
On a side note, I tested the 5g21 and Kvd21 about a foot apart. I'm getting more or less the same performance. The 5g21 seems a little faster though and it's cheaper on eBay. I would go for the 5g21 if I was to buy a gateway
(I tested against the Verizon gateway too. Verizon doesn't peak as high, but seems more consistent. Overall tmobile performance is better from my tests, but again, it is very location dependent)
I tried reading through the Wiki and the last couple pages of the thread, but I still wasn't 100% sure. I see what most people seem to be using these SIMs for, but in my case I just legit want tablets with unlimited data.
Thanks for any help!

I did it back in March 2022 and I signed up online with SSN. I signed up under Sole proprietorship option, it only asked me SSN, nothing else.
I did buy Samsung A7 Lite tablet with another new line, 3 weeks ago, there was few issues like initially they had put wrong promo code so it would cost me $50 and only $150 in credits over 2 years (instead of costing me $0 and $200 in credits over 2 years), T-Mobile Tforce on twitter fixed it for me later (Take out T962 promo code and put T964 in as Promo code (they had to wait 48 hours in-between) but still. Also, they had added Norton Security which costs extra $5/month, I had to remove it and got charged prorated for it. I was charged $35 activation fee and $16 in taxes for $200 Tablet so almost $51 at time of ordering.
I heard you can activation fee waived if you call in and order, I had ordered it the tablet online via chat.
just checked.. you are right... darn it..
