Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

For those of you that have the T-Mobile app working under this plan, are there any suggestions you can give to those that can't get it to work?

I've also opened it with the EIN. When logging in all I get is a recurrent error message. All works well under the T-Mobile for Business website.

You get something like a free phone, the gateway and 1 month of service for about $100. Sell the free phone and your total cost is around $50. Look at the other thread for details
For the Gateway at the Metro store, are you required to present an id and does it result in a hard pull or something?

I don't see anything about paying for the gateway on the Metro site, they do mention paying for the PHONE if you cancel early. On the T-mobile site they do want the gateway back or charge for it if you cancel it. Has anyone had the Metro gateway longer than a month after cancelling the service? This could be a huge dealbreaker if Metro charges a bunch to keep it.
Any update on the info?

Clip from full term
"Gateway: Discount via $50 instant rebate on full price of $99.99 when you sign up for Home Internet for Metro. Applicable tax due at sale. Gateway cannot be unlocked for use on other networks."

Metro is prepaid, I don't think they will ask for device back, they don't ask for SSN/Social

There is offer to get Metro phones online, just need to pay $40 for first month, you don't pay 2nd month, the service is cancelled, but you don't owe them anything for free phone.

Look at https://slickdeals.net/f/15871423-metro-by-t-mobile-get-one-select-smartphone-30-days-of-service-40-new-accounts-no-port-in-required

Metro stores differ, at my area they ask for License ID to check to make sure you haven't like got more than 2 free phones in less than 90 days.

I didn't bother going to get Home internet from Metro, I just bought it online at eBay for $75, My friend bought one in eBay auction yesterday for $72 (sealed/brand new).

Maybe you can try to get phone online, and pay $40 for it for first month, then get home internet modem from local store for $50. Also, phone unlocks after 6 month even if you don't buy service anymore after first month. Some phones like Nord N200 5G from Metro works with T-Mobile directly no unlocked needed (I heard, I didn't try)

Need to present Driver's license in my area. No Hard Pull cause they don't ask for SSN/Social.

I signed up on T-Mobile website, T-Mobile business account site doesn't work for me I think it is cause I signed up via SSN/Sole Proprietorship.

https://www.t-mobile.com/

After I login, I click on "Usage" tab on top, then I can see breakdown of Data used per line and usage on Mobile Data. (when you click on it it expands and shows more details per line)

I was wondering the same, it doesn't show under my both lines any more but if I do a fast.com test, still got about 5mbps, so not sure at all

It never showed up on my account, but reps keep telling me it's there and fast.com is consistent

Has anything changed in terms of being able to easily sign up for this line online? I've tried twice since this thread was made and both times was a pain in the ass so I gave up.
