Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Right. And if you have a Google voice#, then it'll work with data/text and voice
When I contacted the tforce to convert my physical sim to esim, he warned me that the sim might stop working anytime since it is not meant for phones. So was curious. I have been using it for the last two weeks without any issues.

I believe these are the instructions I followed. It wasn't too hard to figure out. Once it's set, it will continue to work even after a factory reset.
Is there an option to verify the option 8 is set after the reboot?
I was able to go thru all options, but after reboot (option 9) the device is not coming online, I had hard reboot to get it back.

Software Version
TMOHS1_0.04.18
Hardware Version
89527_1_11

8) Mask hotspot data as "on-client-device" data

my google voice # used to work over MI sim when calling via wifi/mobile data. now it gives me your connection isnt stable error that outgoing calls need to go through carrier minutes. since MI doesnt have voice calls included, so outgoing calls wont work anymore unless phone is connected to wifi. I've tried removed google num from GV account, removed and reinstalled GV app without any luck

I have a few of this data line but it didn't qualify for the current $25 home internet promotion; had to add a $20 voice line to qualify for it. So effectively it's a $45 5G backup home internet for me. If it does work well, will just cancel the home internet l, which does come with $100 virtual credit card.

Would assume there's tax on the $20 voice line and/or the $25 home internet line - if so, that might be an add'l $10ish per month.

You need to go to Google Voice desktop settings, then calls, then remove the carrier # in oder to use Google Voice to make call and receive.

That's a shame, at those prices it's almost better to get an M6/MR6400.

If you are going to be using it for home internet and don't need portability, either one of the three home routers would work like mentioned before :

ARC KVD21
NOK 5G21
Sagemcomm FAST 5688W

Then you'd need to disable the internal wifi and use your own router like a cudy x6 or glinet to set the ttl.
how do I disable the internal wifi?

i only see my carrier num under incoming calls setting ? or your referring to something else?
under outgoing calls, theres just these

Outgoing calls
You can use Google Voice on the web to place calls on your phone instead of over the internet. Carrier rates may apply. Learn more

Always use my phone to place calls (on or off doesnt fix outgoing calls issue)
When you start a call on the web, answer your phone to finish connecting the call

Anonymous caller ID (turned off)
Hide your caller ID on outgoing calls
