Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

How do I directly modify TTL?
What 3rd party firmware for Asus ax86u be able to do that?
Thank you!
I think you have to connect to router with shell script if you dont want to change the firmware to open source

Yes. From Netflix. Which is the same as Fast.com
This proves that fast.com does not accurately reflect the actual download speed of downloaded data coming from Netflix.

This plan throttles video. I hope that clears up the fast Netflix controversy

I am trying to checkout on an order a business sales agent created from me and I am trying to verify I am on the TI plan, not the TE plan. When I look at the list of plans the TE plan does not have the word "Magenta" in the title so I think I am on the right plan. However, when I go to checkout there are multiples times where it says taxes excluded in the TOS - see below.... are these terms presented regardless of which plan. I could wait until tomorrow but the plans say "Limited Time Only" now and I think they are going away

This is what it is asking me to accept:

Quote :
Transaction Details
Account & Lines Description
Monthly Charges

Magenta Business Tablet 10GB Promo
$10.00
Total Estimated Monthly Charges of these Services
$10.00

Excluding device charges (if applicable)
Taxes & Surcharges which are approximately 6% to 28% of your bill

CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE:
By accepting this form, activating or using T-Mobile service, you agree that:
●You will be charged a monthly Regulatory Programs ("RPF") & Telco Recovery Fee ("TRF") (not a government required tax or charge) totaling $3.49 for Voice Lines and $1.40 for Mobile Internet Lines ("MI") (subject to change without notice; plus tax). Of the $3.49 total charge for voice lines, $0.50 is applied to the RPF and $2.99 is applied to the TRF. For MI lines $0.12 is applied to the RPF and $1.28 is applied to the TRF. These fees may not apply to certain data devices/services. International rates and roaming charges may apply. Certain rates are subject to change at any time. Your first service cycle may start several days after your activation. If you have a device or accessory under one of our device programs, refer to your agreement for the specific terms and conditions of that program.

It's a YMMV.
Even back in May when this thread was hot, some people were reporting limited success.

I had none in store.
I had none via Twitter team.
I had success via FB team.*

*Others reported no success with FB team, but success with Twitter team, so YMMV.

That said, my TMOHS1 hotspot is just okay.
I would say the service is spotty.
I run Cinema from my phone or tablet connected to the hotspot, and there's buffering and lag on the video. Speedtest is showing 30mbps, so IDK.

Need to install DD-WRT FW on top of the stock Asus FW to manually enter the TTL value.
Is DD-WRT same as Merlin's?
I could not find DD-WRT FW for Asus ax86u router.

update: rep told me plan ends the 10th

Order plan w/o tablet. Still showing taxes and fees excluded but hope that is just a standard on T&C. If not I will argue with TForce once I get the thing activated

Use TMOHS1 as modem only, then feed data to a separate quality router via USB cable.

Thank You so much!

By the way, is the RT-AX86U same as RT-AX86 PRO?
Could I install it from Mac or just windows only?

Appreciated!
