Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Merlin RTAC68U and Sagemcom. Netflix streams at HD rates but subjectively looks better than HD. Paramount is 4K and so are HBO Max and Discovery Plus
Saw in earlier post you mention Sagemcom rebooting itself. Did you fix that?

What is the model of the Sagemcom?

When I put this sim inside Arcadyan KVD21, it was counting as hotspot.
Yes, But no hack is ever done or needed on 5G gateway.

But yes, a configurable 2nd router is needed to use Device data.

Yes but I think the deal is over, and also that requires a postpaid TMO voice line which is expensive compared to alternatives if not in a family plan
True, my ancient postpaid Voice lines are very cheap so I sort of forget.

TMSBI is still at $30, but postpaid business Voice line is likely also required.

Like the other guy was trying to say if fast.com shows around 6mb that means you are using device data. If fast.com shows full speed then you are using hotspot data unless you are going through a VPN.

I am now using it on TMOHS1 with modified TTL, and the speedtest at fast.com shows 2.5M
and ookla shows 60M

previously before I modified the TTL, both ookla and fast.com showed 60-80M

The 2.5m would suggest you are on device data but don't have the hdpass on your line.

Is there a portable usb router that can bypass the hotspot limit? I got the tab a7 lite with the line, wondering if there is a simple way to usb tether from the tablet to a router, then have other devices connect to internet via that router. I think I seen there is the GL.iNet GL-AR300M16 (or Mango) but don't quite understand how the usb tether part might work with this.

Mint unlimited is hard throttled (not just deprioritized) to 128mbps after just 35GB of high speed data.

USM Unlimited Premium is hard throttled after 100GB. Only 50GB of that 100GB can be Hotspot.

I see $50 when I google for it

What is interesting if I check home internet availabilty with the number associated with the $10 deal it works.... I wonder if I could have gotten the $25 deal with this $10 line when it was active - I know its cheaper but with $25 no router and no trying to make it work
