Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Those are both sold as T-mobile branded, so I think T-mobile will recognize the IMEI and it won't work with the tablet plan.
It needs to be something not sold as tmobile branded but still have the right band for tmobile.
Been using this plan SIM in a Nok5G21 for months now. What are you talking about?

Quick question - using tablet as mobile hotspot, will I be limited to 10gb even if using VPN on laptop ?(without any ttl modification)

My comcast is down and need to be in virtual Teams meetings all day and not sure how much data that will use

I think he is talking about Nok5G21 to be recognized as hotspot and not native data.

Can confirm that the tablet line works no problem with the Arcadyan or the Fast 5688W

He might desire such a solution, but NOK 5G21 or ARC KVD21 being recognized as 'Hotspot' is much different than "recognize" and "not work with plan".

I have read some of the 293 pages of comments but I'm still confused.
1) Can I get the complete deal by calling their business line? Nearest store is not near.
2) SSN or EIN - Which way is best or easiest?
3) What is a SOC code, and how do I pronounce that I want "SOC code ZB10HSTI" and "HDVPASS0"?

You have been replying to his original comments, where he asked out 'Has anyone tried this router : ZTE Connect-Hub 5G MC8010CA

Selling for $99 https://www.ebay.com/itm/304648909688

or the Inseego FG2000

Looking for something stationary with a wired ethernet port that is cheaper than the $500 Cudy router'

From this it looks like, his working and not working is in the context of recognizing native data. But again, who knows.

Just got done doing it over phone.

First, I tried online but said I needed to speak with representative and it provided a Credit Reference Number.

Called and was transferred to a business representative who took over from there. Provided reference number and it was a pretty painless process.

Plan that I was placed in was Magenta Business taxes/fees included.

Used a EIN number because I did not want to mix personal lines/promos to be safe. Did not want to jeopardize free lines.

All they did to verify business was to call me while I was on the phone with representative to ask if I was setting up a business account. Not sure if they did checks on backend but that was all they asked.

Oh, forgot that was him too. I primarily don't want other readers to think that there is no affordable 5G equipment out there that will easily work with the plan. AFAIK, all 3 TMHI 5G residential gateways do.

The TTL stuff to then get native is Step 2.

Twitted tmobile yesterday, and they ask me to call the business support instead.

I personally test with ARC KVD21 and it works (as hotspot). Havent tried with NOK 5G21 yet (too lazy). I am sure it works, I see no reason why based from all the trying I have done so far..

Quick question to the networking buffs here.

Equipment is Asuswrt Merlin with Arcadyan KVD 21. Script is up and running setting TTL to 68 and it works. However, I am still getting *some* hotspot data registered (about 0.5 GB per day). Anyone having the same issue or know what the reason for this is?

Thanks.

But kvd1 and nok are cheaper on eBay
