Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

The Cudy might be why your LTE speeds are so low. The LT500D is only CAT-4.

cudy p5 expensive, too (also can't configure it for shit). It's a rip off. You can buy any of the relatively cheap mtk 7621 routers and pop in a rm520n for under 400 easily (much less if you get it all straight from asia). If you search around you can find them with the rm520 for under 450.

I'm getting 550 down/95 up, but can't figure out (if it's possible) how to connect like my phone does. Phone/TMHI gets 7-900 down.

I was able to activate this online, using a google link thru an RV forum.
The billing is $18.34/mo
8.34 discount for the tablet (paid off in 24mo)
5 auto pay discount (which is in error, i don't get it)
$10/mo in total (240 total contract cost)

I was able to get the tmobile sim card working on 6 different phones without issue.
I ended up going with the CUDY LT500D, which is a router with a sim card.
I had to modify the TTL settings & run all traffic thru a VPN (integrated into the router).
*time will tell if this gets my account flagged

The tablet was by far the slowest of every device i tested, including a Iphone 6s, and thus i'm selling it.
I was quite suprized that a new device would have a slower bandwidth than a iphone 8 generations old or an Android from 5 years ago.

I was getting speeds of over 450/50 over 5G, which is pretty impressive.
The 4G speeds are less impressive, at like 15/5, which is usable, but not impressive.
The tablet may not be able to lock into a fast T Mo band. If the tablet's speed is slow via WiFi (positioned next to the router), then we are looking at a garbage transceiver/antenna or the need for a firmware/software update. 50-55Mbps is probably the norm. 5GHz is faster, but it lacks the range of 2.4 GHz.

The free TMOHS1 is a small, but very capable 4G unit. When properly positioned, it can deliver 45-60Mbps with 40-45 ms static ping at 5 ft. Speed drops to 30-35Mbps at 30 ft. I use the Lithium battery only to start TMOHS1. Remove the battery when all the lights go out during boot.

Go into the TMOHS1's menu to turn OFF sleep mode. All the lights stay active when running without the battery.

Would you able to link some examples of mtk7621 or rm520 routers?

wg1608 is cheap. Suncomm/alway, etc (all look the same, may be labeled 5G CPE).
If you're a noob, you can find them with reskinned openwrt that has one click...identity changes... and the like.

RM520N-GL is the modem. It's a qualcomm x62. It's not worth going cheaper if you're getting it for 5G (and I assume we all are).

Correct. No need to mask anything. Just log in to Cudy router and change TTL to 67 or 68 and you should be good. But you have to use the cudy as your router. It's easier to change the TTL than to change your wifi name and password. It's very easy. Just make sure firmware is up so date is there's any problem
Interesting... so at this point T mobile doesnt care if the imei number pushing data is a Nok5G21 device or something....

For the phones, it was data only and couldn't make calls correct? Too bad you can't use the SIM in as many portable/battery hotspots as you can with different phones.

I'm in Europe with this plan on esim on iPhone 14 pro max. Absolutely no issues and received a text welcoming me :

T-Mobile: Welcome to ! Your plan includes coverage that gives you unlimited data On Us now at faster speeds up to 256Kbps, plus unlimited texts at no extra cost. Want high-speed data? Get an International Pass: t-mo.co/intl-pass2. Enjoy your stay!

The data works great and also allows my other line that is US only to use WiFi calling for voice/texts.

Are the speeds usable for web browsing? When I was in Europe specifically netherlands, it showed lte but barely worked. This was in an iPad as well btw.

Inserted the T Mobile home internet SIM in the TMOHS1 unit. No data. Both are R15 SIM cards. Has anyone able to use this SIM in another device other than the Nokia, Arcadyan, and Sagemcom units?

TIA,
F
