1. I have a Pixel 4a which is a little small. Occasionally, the left side wants to try and wobble off the top of the phone. I don't think this would be an issue if you've got a larger device that actually fits in it.
2. As mentioned previously, you have to take any case you may have on your phone off. It's fairly easy for mine as I've got a really thin TPU case, but it can be a hassle.
Just make sure you go check the supported phone dimensions vs what your phones actual dimensions are. Smaller devices may suffer from that same wobble I deal with, though it's really not all that bad IMO.

per my experience, clip is great with the flexible viewing angles but the best looking angle (around 30-45 degree toward you) makes the set front (top) heavy and it was uncomfortable for me to play relatively long period of time.
