I own this Made in Japan Vessel interchangeable ball grip and it's an excellent driver (you'll appreciate the rubber ball design once you try it). Amazon does not sell these directly, but the third party seller here is from Japan and has a 99% positive rating on close to 8k reviews... hard to do much better than that. Given this is a third party seller, and the next closest price is $14.27, if you want one at this price, I wouldn't wait.
  • Brand VESSEL of Japan
  • Interchangeable driver grip with 3 double ended bits (+1, +2, +3, -6, PZ2, PZ3)
  • Erogonomic BALL GRIP for anti-fatigue and various way of driving
  • 3 inch blade length after inserting the bit into the handle
  • Interchangeable with any 1/4" Hex bit longer than 2 inch overall length
  • Including Pozidrive tip often used in European appliancies, furniture, and more
HISTORY
VESSEL was founded in 1916 as Japan's first volume manufacturer of screwdrivers. With most ironworks at the time producing agricultural implements such as spades and hoes, the young company put in place a mass production system specialized for the manufacture of screwdrivers for industrial applications and began supplying its products to the market.

Founding
Japan's first domestically produced screwdriver and the VESSEL brand
Screwdrivers were typically included with industrial machinery such as spinning machines. VESSEL set out to create an originally designed, domestically produced screwdriver to compete with these overseas products. In 1933, the company began emblazoning its products with the brand "VESSEL," meaning a large ship in English, as a signifier of their superior quality.

Thanks, OP.

I'm slowly starting to realize that I have a serious tool addiction.

Ain't going to work. Was hoping in the handle or it comes with a box. Hard pass.

If for nothing else, get it for the pozidrive.

While you can sometimes get away with using phillips in pozidrive screws, the correct driver makes for a much more secure connection.

Thanks, OP!
Seems like a fine instrument.
Doesn't appear to be a storage system for the additional bits, which is unfortunate.
Thanks also for the history and background on this company. Repped!

You are correct. I have 2 of these, and one I store on one of those magnetic strips from Harbor Freight (works great) and the other I keep in this resealable Vessel packaging that works well for storage. Hopefully Vessel hasn't changed the packaging design.

I have a bunch of these in red and blue (just Phillips and straight tho) from when Sears/craftsman used to sell them. They're nice quality.
