The Anker model A2762 is unique in that it remains one of the rare Anker power strips which:
  1. Is listed under ETL (Intertek) rather than TÜV
  2. Has UL listings for both relocatable taps and surge protection
Information for their UL 1363 and UL 1449 listing is available here [intertekconnect.com].

How do I know this? It is thanks to well-documented Amazon reviews which include clear photos of the ETL mark information. These Amazon reviews have colorful titles such as FIRE HAZARD!!(link here) [amazon.com] Although that review had much more helpful photos for my ETL research, it was not ranked as helpful as Smoked, stunk up my house, burned a divot in my desk and is unusable. Other than that, it's fab. (link here [amazon.com]). In Anker's defense, the clear ETL labeling on these power strips stands in contrast to most Anker power strip products which have almost no appropriate labeling regarding UL listing. A reputable power strip with surge protection will bear UL listing marks and have them clearly labeled for both standards. Devices which only have, for example, UL molding in the cable in the plug by itself is not sufficient, as you can review from the guidelines here:
https://marks.ul.com/about/ul-lis...h-america/

So no reviews about anyone's house burning down, but plenty where the product itself has experienced some difficulties. So what's left to evaluate if the appropriate UL listings finally exist? Well consider that Anker's claims for surge protection suggest performance capabilities beyond that of a gold-standard product like the Tripp Lite Isobar Ultra [tripplite.com]. As an owner of a Tripp Lite Isobar Ultra (as well as power devices from Panamax, APC, CyberPower, Monster, and others) I can confirm that few if any devices can compare despite the ancient, well-documented design [tomshardware.com].

If you're interested, the same writer did similar teardowns on units from Monster [tomshardware.com], Amazon [tomshardware.com], and others [tomshardware.com]. That Amazon device teardown is particularly noteworthy since that model is still pretty common as a value option in the sub-$20 space from CyberPower and, more recently, Best Buy Essentials.

Good luck!
Jon
