Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Taste is very subjective. We like it, but we like the albacore better. The albacore is usually more expensive though. This 12-pack has been this price for while now but don't believe it has always had the S&S option which could save you almost $2 if you have 5 items in your subscription.
Also as an FYI, some people (including myself) only received one pack all though most got all 12 from what I've read. Amazon refunded me with no issues and told me to keep the single pack, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

I bought the last slickdeal of this, the taste is really just bad. Going back to the Costco ahi tuna in a can is like night and day. This one is just so dry and honestly kind of bitter?

The thing I like about Wild Planet is that they don't press out the omega-3s. Unlike the canned stuff you get from other brands, you aren't supposed to drain this.
Skipjack is smaller than albacore so that means less mercury.
As far as taste, I can't say. I drench it in mayo.
Skipjack tuna is known as the Mackerel of the tuna family. Not the best tasting, color or texture, but definitely the most plentiful tuna in the Ocean.
If the taste doesn't put you off, the fact it looks like cat food will. It's mush. Nothing like the steak-like Albacore tuna. I bought the cans, not the pouch. Maybe pouch is different, but the package pic shows big chunks of tuna that I doubt survive being smashed to mush in the pouch.
