They are just unloading their e-waste. The CPU is from 2016. If they can price their 17" with N4500 from last year at $150, they can certainly try $50 for this severely underpowered 11" unit.

I turned my neighbor on to that deal. I only played with for a few min. the other night and I'm super impressed! I'm kicking myself for not getting the wife one.

The Mediatek MT8183c is 5 years newer than the Celeron N3350 and the N3350 beats it in certain categories (Single core performance, GPU all around). I wouldn't say the Mediatek is even close to a "way better processor".

Now a N4000 series Celeron or Core i3 is another story.

A6-9220 is barely better than the N3350 and the Mediatek ARM processor is worse in a lot of categories.
