Which Gen are we on now for these? I'm so lost in the Apple ecosystem - ever since maybe iPhone 7 I haven't followed much.

I own multiple sets of each and max's. The gen two regulars are my favorite for phone calls and yard work. I don't like the pros when I want to hear stuff around me they work well for noise cancellation but not as good as the max. So the pros are my least favorite of all. These I also find to be more comfortable

I have both and can tell you that sound quality and volume is substantially better on the pros and this is before consideration of wireless charging, ANC, etc. of course they are almost twice the price granted.

I don't have both but from the pros I love them. Can wear them throughout the day with no issues and the sound quality is great. I even snowboard with my pros and a helmet to cover the ears but have had no issue falling out only issue is talking to friends without taking them off to hear what they're saying

Hmm. I just left mine in my pants in the washer. And now the left one doesn't want to connect.
