Had some clogging issues with a bathroom sink today. After using the unclogging liquids, that didn't help, a plumber just took a plunger to it and it unclogged. Yes a plunger. Just like it was a toilet. It worked. So try it out fellas. Took a few times to get all that junk out but it worked.

But he is not wrong. We had badly clogged bathroom sink. I poured a lot of drain opener down the sink several times but it did not open. My 20 year-old-son decided to teach himself how to remove the old metal trap, clear the clog and replace with plastic pipes while his parents were out. He did great job and the sink has been working well without any issues since then. I am very grateful he could fix the clog and replace the pipes to prevent future issues.

Get yourself a big bag of baking soda and a big bottle of vinegar instead of buying all these chemicals

Just know this: these chemicals go directly back into your drinking water. There's no magic sunlight to "purify" the water we drink. It's filtered and treated. You, your family, and your children will be drinking these contaminants. Just stop.

Good opportunity to learn that there are actually two types of plungers. The one with the narrowing flap at the bottom is the one to use on toilets, the one without the flap is for sinks. You can fold in the flap on the toilet type to use it on a sink, but...yeah don't... Just get one of each.

Depends on if the clog is accessible; sinks are easy but shower and bath can be in tough areas So a snake would be the next option

Most people say lye is better alternative but price could be a even bigger motivator
