For the price its great. I got mine 2 weeks ago in black came in excellent condition with windows 11 already installed. The only gripe would be no ethernet port but i knew that going in and bought a usb c adapter for that. It does charge usb c but the charger given is not usb c.

FYI these aren't refurbished by Gateway and they won't provide any support on them. I bought two from Walmart last time and both had defective TouchPads, one unit was also heavily beat up. Had to return both

Mine came in today. Was easy to use the Windows 10 media creation tool to make a bootable 10 installer. Did Windows Updates and this thing is a beast. Super snappy to load anything and multitask. No bloat. Love the aluminum lid. Only con is the speakers are quiet. Heck of a deal to replace my 2016 MacBook Air!

P.S. - seems like the users having problems with it are running Windows 11. That's why I went with 10. No major reason to upgrade IMO.

Has anyone been able to find out if there's a bios update from the gatewayusa.com site? The site is a circle jerk when going to the support section. I'd like to update my bios in windows before putting Linux Mint on it ... btw, this is the first time I've seen a fingerprint reader on the trackpad ... of course, my other laptops are like 10 years old ...
