Get a bag of citric acid and put 1/2 a cup in the machine and run on a long warm/hot cycle. Saves money and does the same thing.

I was thinking the same thing. And it's cheaper to just get The other non "limited edition"… edit: no it's not $60 shipping for regular non limited edition. What is going on here?

I wonder if one formulation is better or worse for the environment than the other. All the chemicals seem rather benign
How hard would be to create software to monitor and prevent these kind of scams? Maybe flag an item internally for review if shipping is 2000% more than its retail price? Or if that's not possible, how about a customer reporting feature so that Amazon staff can investigate after numerous reports come in?
Back on topic, I use these every few months with our dishwasher and it helps the dishes come out clean. In my experience, it's a good product. Thanks OP.

Most soaps are base so scale can build up. Cleaners like this, acid, can remove that build up.
But like I said before, just buy citric acid and save even more money.

The main benefit to this one is it has a wax plug that prevents the cleaner from being released until after the pre wash cycle. If you just throw citric acid in it will be drained off before the main wash cycle even starts
