This seems like a upgrade specifically designed for pet owners, which is kind of nice.
edit: unless you're looking to replace immediately I'd also suggest waiting for the bundle with the ultra dock, prime day is a few months away and I bet it will go on sale if they're trying to push it, given they took the s6 maxv off Amazon already to push the s7 line
How many pets do you have ? I have the s5max and works fine for 1 golden retriever that sheds like crazy. I run it every day on about 2400sq ft and I only have to empty it at the end.

This seems like a upgrade specifically designed for pet owners, which is kind of nice.
I think this MaxV rev makes the vacuum work for humans, rather than us working for it (to tidy up the things on floor, worried that it'll get stuck somewhere along the way).
Let alone the water emptying capacity with Ultra dock that seems to be exclusive to MaxV.
