I ordered the S22 Ultra but it won't arrive until tomorrow. I am currently on Mint and the service will expire midnight tonight. That means I have to port my number out today from Mint before my new S22 gets here. Is it Ok for me to get a Google FI sim from the a store today, transfer the number from Mint and activate FI on my current phone (Pixel 2)? Tomorrow when I get the new S22 I will just put in the activated sim from today.

Is there any issue with the promotion if I do it this way? I just really need to do the porting from Mint today before the service ends midnight.

Is the SIM card included with the phone or need to order separately?

thank you for this info!

debating if I should pull the trigger to replace an S9.

even the S9 has a better resolution than the S22!
1440 x 3040 pixels, 19:9 ratio (~550 ppi density)
vs
1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~425 ppi density)
It depends on your requirement even S8 has better resolution. Samsung is coming up with more models with different configuration to compete other companies.

If you can tolerate google fi for 4 months plus not so good fi customer service (again ymmv on experience).

So far in this thread nobody had mentioned having to order the Fi SIM separately.

That will cancel the promotion and you'll get charged $500. Just add a month to mint.

I do not have direct experience with this, but I believe you have about 55 days to port out from Mint mobile once your number is inactive.

We hold your number for at least a month. 55 days I think, but you are for sure ok for 28 days at least.

yes, over multiple transactions. but each time you go over $50, the counter will reset i guess, so you will have to do minimum 4 bill transactions with AMEX by 9/2.
Just prepaid 2 google fi bill for $50, plain snd simple you can prepaid once you activate your line.
