Do you have to remove the mop for the no mop areas or will it go over the carpeted areas with the mop still attached?

got mine the other day. Looks like new. But didn't come with moisture mat. I contacted customer service who put in a ticket request and I got a response saying the refurbished items don't include the moisture mat.

Anyone else not the moisture mat?
