anybody has code for free or sell ?
Just make sure that you have a firm appointment with the bank for today if you plan to buy one. Some people have reported weeks-long waiting lists to set up a business account, as there's often only one employee who does it. And today is the last day to use the code for the bonus, so they're probably pretty busy.

Sorry, already used mine. On the bright side, interest rates are just starting their ramp-up cycle and banks make lots more from customers when that happens. So there will likely be similar offers in the future as they try to bring on more business customers in hopes of eventually getting more loan business out of it.

You could try offering $10 or $20 on eBay for a code and see if someone takes it rather than just let it expire. But in the past, I've seen people generate promo codes based on an algorithm that go through as legit at first, but could be cancelled later when the company realizes it. So that might make me a bit nervous. Saw that in a discount thread for Total Wireless recently. You'd also need to assume the seller would get back to you in time since I think eBay gives them 24 hours to respond.

If you have any issues, I'd dispute it with eBay. The terms of the deal state that it cannot be sold or traded, which I'm sure they didn't admit in the auction, so it would be a fraudulent sale. eBay should realize that people sometimes sell offers like this that aren't able to be legally transferred and void the sale. eBay is generally very good at refunding sales like that which violate their policy and user feedback won't be affected. It should be common sense that these aren't transferable, but I'd include the attached pic of the terms so they can see exactly what it says. I wouldn't bother contacting the seller, but dispute directly through eBay since it wasn't a legitimate sale to begin with.

Has anyone had any issues (as it relates to obtaining the bonus), making an appointment and opening an account AFTER Wells Fargo pulled the offer?
As a data point for the future (due to Wells Fargo pulling the offer a couple weeks back but yet the offers still good through today 5/13/2022), I realized I still had a code this morning and quickly made an appointment (luckily one branch had a 3:30 pm appt) and just got back from opening a biz account. The system took my code - so that part was still good, even after WF shut down the bonus webpage a few weeks back.

It did take about an hour, but that's ok...the lady opening the account was very friendly and we were talking about all sorts of side business's that people have.

All in all - this was one of my better Arbitrage deals...

Would you know of the right agency to assist with a company named Computershare: https://www.computershare.com/us

My mom cashed out some stock she held in an old IRA she had years ago. They issued her a check which my mom put in her bank. A few days later, the bank called my mom and told her that Computershare had put a stop payment on the check!

When she reached out to Computershare, they only told her that somehow her transaction was flagged as potentially fraudulent and that she'd have to write a notarized letter requesting re-issuing of the check. She did...that was 6 weeks ago and when she calls, they can't tell her anything!

TIA...

If you can live without going to the actual bank to get services, get someone related to you who was or still is in the military to get you a USAA or Navy Federal membership. There are some loopholes in "Household members" but I'm sure you can figure it out.
How can someone get a USAA account without being directly (wife/husband, kids) related to someone military affiliated. USAA is hard core on their membership requirements. I even knew of a situation with a widow of a military veteran (who never had a USAA account) that tried to see if she could open a USAA account - USAA told her no. Said she would only be eligible if her husband had opened an account prior to his death.
On another note, Navy FCU, allowed her to open an account with no problem...But Navy FCU does not have insurance products!

Yes since it's an IRA file a request with the SEC, FINRA (file a tip). https://www.sec.gov/oiea/Complaint.html

We're getting close to payday (qualification date anyway, on the earliest side). Any thoughts?

I'm looking forward to the reports of how things go...and what happens when folks start closing their accounts. Will WF try to entice to keep people??

I got a call from my "personal banker" and she wanted to check on my and see how I was doing and if the account was meeting my needs? I told her everything was fine but that I was not ready to use the account yet (I've only deposited the initial amount and transfer of $5k to trigger the bonus).

She says I'm eligible for a Biz Credit card, with no credit pull, for a $300 bonus w/$3k spend within 3 months. She wants me to come in to apply. WTH, I might just go for that too...she's kinda cute anyways!

Opened my account on April 12 so a week to go. I've done a round of bank accounts before and have not received any sort of retention offers from any of the banks to keep the account active. Only retention offers I've ever received were from credit cards with annual fees. Makes sense since banks make a lot more money off credit cards than bank accounts.

Also I applied for the business credit card when I opened my account. Took over a month to get processed though cause it got held up by the back office, requiring more business information, etc.

Opened my account on 4/12/22 and deposited $5100 in account. Checked today and have not received my $1500.

** Went back to read the terms. Looks like they should be depositing the bonus in the next 30 days.

Open an account in a Wells Fargo branch.

You must bring this bonus offer code to provide to a banker at account opening when you apply for a new, eligible Wells Fargo business checking account, with a minimum opening deposit of $25, by 05/13/2022.

Have at least $5,000 ending daily balance in your new business checking account on the 30th calendar day and the 60th calendar day after account opening.

We will deposit the bonus into your new business checking account within 30 days after meeting all offer requirements.

I signed up on 4/14 and my $1500 bonus showed up today when I looked online. Keep in mind that banks don't really do anything on weekends and even though the trigger may be automatic, they likely require an employee to do a quick verification before posting, so you might want to look again now. It could also take longer for some accounts, depending on the process. I was expecting it to take up to 30 more days, but was pleasantly surprised to see it show up today.

Just checked now. $1500 show pending in my account. How long is everyone waiting before closing account?
