I have one but wireless with the home base… love it. Clear and does a great job. Glad I got away from ring and subscriptions for recording.

my experience is the opposite.

Unreliable, base station goes offline from time to time, live video occasionally does not load
motion detection is a hit and miss (detecting things too far away / fail to detect motion right in front of it / pre-recording being too short)

Eufy has not released a firmware update ever since I got mine last year

blink doorbell is just as good (better depending how this interfaces with chime, if your mounting config utilizes battery life where blink is unbeatable etc) and goes on sale for 1/3 the price. this may have slightly better video quality but worse everywhere else aint worth 3x price

human detection is one thing blink lacks, but i dont think its that big a deal especially on a doorbell, where youre going to be interested in every trigger. i guess unless you have a large dog frequently coming in and out.

What is the good wireless video door bell that does not require any wiring or base that can be used with an app. Subscription or no will consider both options. I do not have a wired door bell just looking for easy wire free solution.

I have one and yes it does. When you hit the button, it activates both home chimes and its own chime.

Their battery doorbells don't require wiring

I have the continuous recording doorbell. It's pretty good at detection, but there have been times I was glad to have the option to scroll through the video feed because the clip didn't catch everything or it was missed completely.

Ring and Blink are owned by Amazon. Amazon = subscription = you never own the device + you are just duped renter.

- No Ai
- sync module is a gimmick, and at the end of the day the total price is above eufy
- subscription, subscription, subscription

Blink Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7swFI3PAeQ

Conclusion: better options are available = eufy

I've had the same experience with mine without base station. Sometimes it will miss the mail truck right infront of the house and sometimes it will pick up a small shadow moving way in the corner of its FoV.
