I have had this model installed for the past 2 years. It works great as a doorbell, but the video function works about 50% of the time. It will detect faces and record, but the streaming feature always has problems connecting. I have been waiting for a patch for a long time, but it seems Eufy has abandoned updates for it.

It sucks. Motion only alerts after delivery guys are gone. Video play back never work.

Did you try to update the firmware? and is it far away from the wireless router?

I've had mine for around 2 years as well. Same issues. I wouldn't says it's as bad as 50% of the time, but it's a good chunk of time it doesn't detect people walking or delivering packages. However for $70 I'd still recommend it. I've had other camera doorbells, ring, sky bell,etc. I've yet to have one that picked up motion 100% of the time.

Yes it does, so long as your visitor rings the doorbell.

I have to echo that the facial recognition is lackluster. But the video connection is reliable so long as your wifi is.
