Lowest was $279 at HD clearance just before Xmas last year. $359 is about as low as a deal will get for this, which has happened a few times before for this unit.

1800W/2300W.
6 hours at 50% load, 1.18 gal tank.
59 dB.
47 lbs.
Can be paralleled with kit.
Off/choke/run knob.
Eco mode switch.
Includes oil, spark plug wrench, funnel, 12V charging cable.
1 year warranty.
Light, not loud, good on fuel. Good output (inverter, also a little higher than the typical 2kW inverters).
1 year warranty only. No fuel shutoff but with proper maintenance and ethanol-free fuel and/or stabilizers, can avoid starting issues. But man do I love a shutoff for something like this, especially if you don't use it often.

The combination dial (Off, Run, Start/Choke). Usually is a fuel shutoff.
The issue is that when there is a dial like this, it also simultaneously turns the generator off, meaning you can't run the carburettor dry.
Usually there is a small screw on the carb bowl that allows you to drain remaining fuel very quickly. The Predator, Wen and Cat 2000w models all have a hose that directs that drained fuel out of the case onto the ground beneath (they are all identical other than the case and inverter board..... likely this Pulser is also identical)

Yup thanks for clarifying, that is what I meant to say.
My champion 2kW has a fuel cut on the ez-dial so I can run it dry (similar to an inline fuel shutoff). This gets rid of most of the gas in the carb except for what's in the bowl and great for short term storage.
For long term storage, I do use the drain hose and screw to empty out the bowl.
Not that Champion invented it; just their label. This one is 39lbs vs. 47lbs; 53dBa vs 59dBa; dual fuel vs gas only; 11.5 hours runtime vs 8 hours. None of that makes the Pulsar a bad deal, its a good deal, but there are some advantages for the newer generic platform.
