Where are people getting the idea these are waterproof? Weatherproof is a Costco house brand... zero relation to functionality.

Nobody EVER cares what you're wearing. They are waterproof. They are cheap. Hopefully they are comfortable. They could be the ugliest shoes ever made and they would still be perfect for walking my dog on mud days.
