Surge protector with power metering and separate controllable plugs through HomeKit. I use a few Eve products in my HomeKit setup, including a smart plug/power meter, Eve Aqua (sprinklers), and Eve Room (temp and AQ monitor). They all work extremely well, and the Eve app is a great stand-in for the Home app that doesn't blast your data everywhere. Still full price at Best Buy.

I can appreciate some people might feel that way, but I definitely find it useful to be able to chart power consumption, not to mention control each plug separately using voice or schedule. To each their own! 👍🏽
You can do all that with kasa as well except power consumption
But isn't Kasa not HK compatible?
Until/Unless they update this from 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi to Thread I think a surge strip plugged into an Eve Energy outlet is a better route. Or multiple Eve outlets plugged into a surge strip.
