We've had this set for 1.5 years now and while it's been a lot of fun for my 1 & 2 year old, my 4-8 yr old nieces/nephews have all but destroyed it. It squeaks and bows with only two kids on it, forget about having one kid on a swing and two kids on the glider. The plastic swings have cracked and dry rotted and almost everything has rust on it.

I've already started planning how I'm going to recycle all the parts

Yea I don't expect that thing to last. I guess you get your moneys worth for a little kid. Otherwise the heavy duty ones cost a lot.

I hate all these new swings. They are pathetic. I go to an old playground and all the stuff are just as I remember them. The swing is 15 foot high that make you feel like you can swing to the moon. They have the metal ass burning slides, not the new plastic static shocking slide. It's really sad to see there are no kid playing, a dying culture.
