Not a bad price given everything now. Here is the build

1) 11700kf - $180 at microcenter
2) 3080 TUF 10GB - $850 but say it is harder to get now and you upgrade to (gigabyte gaming/MSI ventus) 12GB 3080 at $950
3) 16GB ddr4 - $70
4) 512GB nvme - $60
5) 2TB HDD - $60
6) 600W PSU - $50
7) case - $80
8) CPU cooler - $40
9) Motherboard - $120 for B560 or $160 for Z590
10) window 10 - free if you don't activate, or $30 for those shady keys or 100 for newegg oem

Total: 180 + 950 + 70 + 60 + 60 + 50 + 80 + 40 + 120 = $1610 or $1710 if you count legit window 10 oem. But with this build you get gigabyte/msi 12GB 3080 instead of the tuf 3080 v2. Also you probbaly have a better case than this thing.
Please read reviews before buying, case/airflow design sucks and runs very hot. Some people bought it and moved to a different case to remedy.
Seems missing the motherboard price?

Yeah you are right. Add like $120 for the b560 or $140 for the z590. So $1610 or 1710 if you count legit window 11. But you will get a better gpu and case.

Motherboard is a ASUS B560-G I believe so throw another $230 into the total price if you are purchasing via parts: https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-s...6813119476

I think this build price is a good deal if it's being built correctly. Do you get all the warranty for each part if bought as a total build?

It might have been the MSI Ventus. It was from Newegg with coupon and rebate to bring it to $950. Or it could've been the Gigabyte Gaming. Either case, none of the top of the line 3080 12GB, but should be better than than the 3080 10GB when OC properly..

Here is a Z590 mobo for $159.

Yes Asrock, but it is one of their higher end. You would have to tack on a $30 wifi card though.

Here is a cheap B560 board with wifi built in for $114.

Warranty would be serviced by yourself if you build vs buying from Asus. Again decent deal for those who don't want to build themselves, but even then everyone highly recommend swapping out the case for a better one unless you want to restrict your CPU/GPU performance. So there is probably a $80 additional charge for this computer. haha.

I have this PC without the 3080 card. This case has no room to add additional 2.5" or 3.5" hdd. I cannot add my old drives unless the drives are not anchored down and I want to see a mess. Just my 2 pence.

Great deal, but you may want to upgrade the PSU at some point. This is likely bare minimum to even run the 3080.

Geez, could you imagine paying $1700 for a build (or $2100 MSRP) and have to immediately put it in another case?

Come on ASUS, you can do better.
