I want to pick up dual 10" or 12" but still building out the theater. Not gonna lie the upward rise in shipping costs have made this deal seem meh. Especially after the 10" going on sale for $400 bucs during the holidays.

Ordered one yesterday when I saw the price drop back down to 1199. Includes free shipping too. With inflation these are an even better bargain than before, as some competitors have raised prices and shipping fees.
Also worth noting is a single monolith 15 will out perform two monolith 12's in overall output by about 10% and play a bit lower.

Can't speak to the monolith personally but last year I had the same decision to make. I went with the hsu and wow. Customer service, build, customization options and sound all phenomenal. I have the worst possible open floor plans and it rocks. Good luck and enjoy!

I have dual SVS subs in my home theater. They are amazing and ship free.

Buyer beware with the Monolith "Free Shipping". When I bought my sub last sale everything through the checkout process said shipping was free and showed the shipping discount. When checking the invoice under my account, the prices changed from $1199 + tax to $1082 for the sub and $125 for shipping (and tax)!

Since my sub arrived dead, I sent back for a refund and had to call customer service to correct since the RMA refund was only listed at $1082. Will see in a few days if they honor their word on the correct price.

I just hope this is not the start of Monoprice turning into the next NewEgg Frown

i think the 12" is lower than it has ever been before. the 10" was $540 at one point.

i've been going without any subs since i re did my living room 5-6 months back. still not sure what i want to get. might do a 12" for now

newegg fixed a few things since they were called out by the tech press. i recently returned a 4U server chassis that i opened. in the old days, they would have charged me a restocking fee and docked the return shipping. but the return shipping turned out free, and i got a 100% refund.
