I'm not a medical doctor, but my understand is that taking this if you are even a day shy of 50 results in near-instant death.

On a serious note, I saw these are my local Giant on clearance last week for about $3. Wondering if they are discontinued. Keep an eye out for the expiration date (not that it really matters for most vitamins or meds but an old gummy will probably be fairly hard/gross.
