Not $99 for 99% of us. Still full price at $199.
I have 2 large Husky sets and they been great. One is about 20 years old and the other is 2-3 years old. Never had a single one fail. The only Husky tool I had fail was an adjustable wrench (Crescent wrench style) and HD swapped it with zero problems. You walk in with the bad tool and they simply give you the new one.
I would agree that the case kinda sucks. The drawers are a pain.
Lowe's is a pain in the rear for Craftsman warranty exchanges. You have to go through the process of giving your DL then getting a gift card to repurchase right then and there. I haven't bought a Craftsman tool in many years and likely won't again.

Your 20 year tools are still around because I doubt they were made in China.
If you plan to do any major work that requires high pressure/tension or use the sockets a lot I suggest going with impact sockets made of vanadium steel or chrome molybdenum steel.
Yes the sockets in the deal come with a lifetime warranty but that doesn't help you if you are at home with a broken socket. I've broken plenty of regular cheap steel sockets but have never broken an impact socket in 34 years.
Just consider what you plan to use the tools for before buying these sockets listed in the ad.
tempted to jump on this one.. just wish it wasn't so full of allen wrenches and socket bits.. I've been working on my own cars for 30ish years and have never had to use one of those things.
