STEP 1: Sign up for a Sony Rewards account and link your PSN profile. If you click on ACCOUNT after signup you can link both Movies Anywhere and your PlayStation Network account.
STEP 2: Add the 3 month PSNow subscription to your cart (link above) and complete checkout. If you DO NOT have any points you will pay $40. If you DO have points already then you will pay less depending upon on how much you have earned.

Looking at the points activity section and it shows the referral. But the points show as "0".
You can pay cash for the balance of points and only 150 should be pretty cheap. I only had 1k points and it came out to $34 for the remainder needed

The only people who got to take real advantage of this idea were the ones who had multiple years of both before they did the blocking.

I don't know if submitting ps now codes is blocked elsewhere but I just now added the 3 month psnow from this thread using the ps app with no issues. Granted, I don't absolutely know if the grandfathered upgrade conversion will work but cheap enough to try it out lol.
Maybe plus and now codes can still be stacked through the ps app?
But you have to have a minimum of 500 points to receive the option to pay cash.
Ohh I see now. Damn I'm not sure then. Any chance you could do the movies anywhere points? Might be worth buying a couple movies to get the rest of the points needed.
the "invite friends" bonus looks like you have to invite 3 people to get 300 points btw
Did you link Movies Anywhere? Every time you redeem a digital Sony movie on Movies Anywhere (not buy - just redeem) and you have Movies Anywhere linked with Sony Rewards you get free points.
