that is the problem with cheap ssds with no warranty.
id rather stick to something with a decent warranty service than risk having to be on the phone for hours.
crucial samsung intel wd/sandisk all have decent ssds

TB per dollar this is a solid deal. if you get one that doesnt die.

No DRAM cache which means this drive will slow down to a crawl if you're transferring files larger that 10GBs. Spend the money on a proper drive, don't waste your time/money on this one.

When you move large 4k movies that can be a pain. Or when you make a backup of a backup, may not be often but the former gets much use.

I did a warranty claim with Samsung and they make it extremely difficult and cumbersome. Not worth it. . I wouldn't care much about a warranty, more important that the SSD is reliable
