For some reason, they won't ship most Westinghouse generators to me in Cali. Carb or not.
I bought this couple years ago from home Depot in California full retail prices great generator. A bit noisy but remote start was nice. I use propane , it's more shelf stable and don't have to worry about gas going stale. It pretty much paid for itself, first time I didn't have a generator, black out last 3 days, $500 dollar worth of food spoiled. Second time around, I was prepared, no more worry about spoil food.
I wish I bought a bigger generator 9000-10k watt one instead. Get a certified electrician and have them install a transfer switch, you can literally use them to power your entire house.
20lb propane can last 12-14 hour depending on the load.
