12700h/3070 regular price.

Just posting this because folks keep posting 5800h/3070 deals at 2021 prices. Folks, that ship sailed, and we are in a new generation. If you're going to start posting year old laptops, they better be severely discounted. 1.2-1.4 for a 5800h based laptop is overpriced. This has a 12700 and will tear up a 5800h in cpu tasks.

This or the legion 5 pro. I would personally lean towards the 5 pro for QHD.

The only thing new about this laptop is the cpu... it even has DDR4 ram memory.

The Legion 5 Pro for @1390 is much better deal still. Full power rtx3070 plus the nicest screen out there.

Yes, it's a 130W 3070.

DDR4 not DDR5.
144Hz
Also, shit screen with 72% NTSC and 250 nits brightness I assume since the brightness hasn't been specified anywhere.

Just coz it has a 12th Gen processor doesn't mean it's a great laptop, neither has that "ship sailed" according to the OP who is totally unaware and is trying his best to shove his deal (referring to the description).
Legion 5 Pro at $1399 with a QHD screen and 3070 is still a much better overall deal.

Availability is tough on that.

True, but it goes in and out of stock time and time again. One just has to wait, which I guess is worth it for a superior all-rounder machine.

300 nits. Either way, 5 pro is generally better. OP is a complete moron(not you)

"1.2-1.4" is overpriced.

Says the one recommending a 1.5K laptop w/ a 144hz 1080p panel, no mux switch(there goes game performance, goof), and sad battery life, and the WORST software of any laptop OEM which can cause significant issues(look at the horror stories).

Gigabyte is frustrating because there's always some flaw that defeats an otherwise great laptop. Have an Aorus x5 v6 with a GTX 1070 that keeps up even today, but the keyboard is messed up to the point where I had to disconnect it and exclusively use an external keyboard. Otherwise laptop has an amazing heatsink system and tons of expansion slots available. Plus you open up the bottom with some screws and EVERYTHING is immediately available, super easy to take apart everything that matters. But again... if they keyboard doesn't work it basically ceases to be a laptop and is now just a portable desktop.
