We have this TV, purchased from Walmart back in Sept 2020 on sale for $20 less. So far so good. We did purchase the 4 year extended warranty as the TCL Roku TV it replaced died at 18 months.

I bought the 50" version model of this TV. in December. for $300.
The picture is 'very good' but not outstanding.. Outstanding would cost about $200-300 plus MORE so i am happy with 'very good'.
Buy the extra warranty for think it is 4 years. After 30 days, Walmart will refuse any return or exchange---Walmart is strict now a days. TVs on transit to Walmart stores and in the stores usually get a rough delivery,

I have this and a 65" version of the 4 series. The 4 series is more glossy, I have the TCL in the media room, which is darker, so it works for me. The R6 is in the better lit living room, so matte surface is more advantageous.

I get two years of warranty extension from the credit card, so I wouldn't pay extra for the extension.

I have this tv but in 60" outside in my patio and I like it. During the morning when the sun is bright it is a little dim but after about 2-3PM it works just perfect. No complaints whatsoever ✌🏼

I got this for 278 in 2020. No complaints...has worked great so far, and I am a fan of the roku interface, but tbf, i've never tried android or fire tv.

My parents samsung picture pops and is super crisp, but honestly, this picture is very good and there's no need to change at the moment.

I like Roku also, except for one ridiculous issue when using Youtube. This is on a standalone Roku device I bought as a Slickdeal. While watching a video and pausing it for more than a few minutes, the video is completely lost and Roku tries to install various channels I would never use. This has happened multiple times.

Hahaha, it's back! I ordered this three times in the same series but the shipping route to me was bad in whatever fashion. I got damaged Hisense 58" tvs 3 times when asking for shipping. I got a 55 roku TCL which is Chinese and had a backdoor. Hisense is Japanese I think and the additional 3 inches is really good. Walmart has shipping problems.

Haha Hisense is definitely not Japanese. It's a Chinese copy/low-cost brand.

Hisense is not Japanese in any way, shape or form, past or present.

Even cheap Toshiba TV's sold in the U.S. are not made in Japan.
