Store brand canned vegetables at Aldi/Walmart/Winco are typically $0.50 to $0.60 normal price.
Sorry, point was that BPA in this type of food packaging is considered safe, a fact that has been reaffirmed through literally hundreds of studies. Studies that find links to adverse health effects always come up short and conclude only "possible" links, but that is in cases where the BPA was allowed to seap into food, typically through heating (hence why you are not supposed to leave a BPA water bottle in the sun).
These beans are ok, I promise!

are those with the white lining inside the can? what happens when the can is dented? doesn't that allow BPA to leach into the food where the damage occurs?.
No coupon showing for me. subscribe and save brings it to $3.40. Yeah fresh is better, but these are a backup and trying to keep a little more food around in case or emergency.
only if they're grown in ones' own garden or sourced locally.
what you think is "fresh" may have been traveling cross country for or cross border picked 2 or 3 weeks ago. if you consider that "fresh", I've got a bridge to sell you. there are times frozen and canned (when not full of preservatives or salt) are flash frozen or canned hours after being picked.. so the choice is 3 weeks fresh or hours frozen or canned in some cases

The fact they sit in an Amazon warehouse for an undisclosed amount of time in unknown heat? I wouldn't be too sure

You think it gets to 158° in an Amazon warehouse, or anywhere else they are storing these?
