I used Dr. Eisley's for years - like, 12+ years - but over the last six months of 2021, I noticed an increasing amount of clay dust, which is very bad for your cats. I didn't know if this was specific to Amazon, so I tried switching to Chewy, with the same result. Maybe it was a fluke and I just got five bad bags in a row (four were from the same batch), but I changed litter brands after that.
Very goopy litter, I scoop at least once a day but this litter turns into cement goop which is very hard to scrape off. It smelled so bad and my cats hated it. First day I used it I could tell the difference when I walked in my house it was gross.
FWIW found this on NYTimes's wirecutter which is their short version of ConsumerReports and this was rated #1
Cats we adopted were used to TidyCats NonClumping and they love this, use it actually. Not sure if it's because the location, or their previous enclosed litterbox is slightly smaller area, but they use this and it's easy to scoop to me. I use a metal scoop. Do have to scrape but not bad really.

Agree with this. Bags I got before last year were excellent in terms of no dust. Recently has been extremely dusty.
I don't know what litter you've been using…but with this particular litter, what you said couldn't be further from the truth! I've had cats my ENTIRE life (literally, since birth!), just tried this out for the first time not too many months back, and it immediately became one of my favorite litters ever!
The clumping action is real, and is amazing w/this litter! It doesn't break up into lil bits AT ALL vs how that happens w/lots of other brands of scoopable litters.
And it also doesn't get stinky like quite a few other litters out there do. As it covers the odors wayyy better than expected! (& even the couple of times I wasn't able to scoop for at least a few days — with 2 cats & a large litter box, I still didn't smell anything whatsoever!…and I can seriously smell ANYTHING from a mile away with my ultra-sensitive nose!)
I literally have not one complaint about this litter!
And trust me, I'd be 100% honest with ya if I did have any issues with it. But out of the 4+ 40lb bags of this litter that girls have gone through over the last few months, not one single complaint! — And I mean not a single complaint from me, OR from my furry cat-faced masters! 💁🏻 ♀️😹
I will absolutely be stocking up again if/when ever it's on sale!
Of course it does. Been using it for six months now. Best litter I've ever used.
I basically just said the same thing! (& also have been using it for just about the same amount of time as you)…Well, except I said quite a bit more that you did, bc I'm apparently incapable of ever just writing something short & sweet🤦🏻 ♀️😬😭…look up at the last comment here, & that should be the one I just wrote.

I have any problems w/stinky-stanky odors from this litter whatsoever! And I have an *extremely* sensitive sense of smell!
This was seriously one of the best litters I've ever used tbh.
Every time I find it on sale from now on, I will absolutely always be sure to stock up on this litter! (I keep checking in hopes to see a great deal on it like I got some months back when I first tried it out, but I'm still waiting!😫 — I'm hoping on prime day (in July) that it'll be on sale for a great price again.
