Excellent monitor, however I returned it because it's too big for just about anything except gaming and watching videos. I'm using a 32" now and I think this is the biggest I'll ever purchase again, unless I want a dedicated gaming and video monitor. Your experience may vary but I learned there can be too much of a good thing.

I know a lot of people think Bigger is Better with monitors, especially around 4K resolution, but for ergonomics 32" might be the largest you should get. Larger just gets way out of your field of vision.
And 4K native resolution at 32" is plenty usable. My sweet spot is 28" at 4K but I can see how many people might find the DPI too high at that size. 32" 4K should be good for most, except with really bad vision.

Agree YMMV, and just to add as someone who's been using 40"+ displays (mostly TVs) for 10+ years, if you give it time (it took me maybe a month to fully adjust?), I can never go back to smaller displays. Currently use a 48" as my primary, and desk is deep enough that I don't sense problems with taking in full screen.

I have two pc gaming rigs. One is a VA display 4k 40" samsung with poor color accuracy and medicore response and refresh. The other is a 34" ultrawide 144hz IPS. Some games that don't need the high refresh the 40" is more immersive. Rpgs, adventure and exploration games. Anything FPS is way better on the ultrawide. 42" OLED tvs suitable for pc monitors are almost here but will initially cost twice as much as this. Id say this is a good deal and would buy if i didn't have other priorities atm.

One of the quirks of this monitor is being unable to change inputs from the remote unless the monitor is already connected to one. It is an odd issue. If the pc is off, you cannot choose HDMI or DP while the monitor is in "sleep mode" until the pc turns on, and wakes the monitor up.

I would have definitely gone with a 38" because it hurts my neck using the 43". Too bad you are in the bay area. Might make a trade lol. If you have the space the 43" is nice. Only issue I have is my RTX 3080 10G can't fully do 4k over 80fps on demanding games.
